Pontemagno is a trademark born from a close collaboration initiated in 1997 between the wine house Piersanti and the trader Cesare Lorenzetti, allowing them to fuse into a single idea quality and experience in the market. Pontemagno debuts in 2000 with the “Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi classico Superiore Bachero” which immediately caused a stir for its intensity and power of taste to also win some major awards such as “Vino e tartufo” in 2008, “Diploma di Gran Menzione -Vinitaly” in 2008, “Vinibuoni d’Italia” in 2009, “Le Marche da Bere” in 2009, “10° selezione nazionale vini da pesce” in 2009, “Diploma di Gran Menzione -Vinitaly” in 2009, ”12° selezione nazionale vini da pesce” in 2011, ”Diploma di Gran Menzione – Vinitaly” in 2011 and “Decanter World Wine Adwords” in 2011, maintaining a highly competitive price range. From this concept, few years after, it has been created a second brand called “Il Teatro del Vino” that best expressed the concept of quality/price rate by offering to the audience of consumer a “champion” named “Quota 311” also awarded at the ”9° Selezione Nazionale dei Vini da Pesce” in 2008, in “Le Marche da Bere” in 2009 and in “Le Marche da Bere” in 2011.
“Pontemagno” and “Teatro del Vino” today appear to be a choice of consumption and even more a philosophy of work. It wants to guarantee at every vintage, and more specifically in each bottle, an excellent quality standard with a reasonable cost. That’s the way we see the wine product, being able to offer a product of excellent quality even to those not willing to spend too much to savour a good wine. We believe in this kind of philosophy that, over the years, has censure us excellent business results and above all the customer satisfaction that is ultimately, what matters most for us.
